Hey everyone! Meet the protagonist of the Card
Captors - Sakura Avalon. What's your first impression upon seeing her pictures above? Very
cute indeed... Her "stuffed animal" Kero is a nice company to be around some
times. Despite the fact that Kero is the guardian beast of the clow cards, Sakura has to
do a lot to foster this troublesome pet. You can well imaging what it's like to have
bountiful sweets stored just to feed this "stuffed animal"!
It's not easy to be the
chosen one. This girl not only has the inheritance of magical powers, but also an inner
fire that guides her through darkness. With the help of her friends, she's able to pass
the tests intended for her destiny.
As a matter of fact,
she's a sweet hearted little girl.... Sure we will see more of her in the future.... |

| What's the fun without a little bit of love
story? The above pictures show the handsome "Card Captor's Assistant"! At first
he was extremely competitive with Sakura, but then he would always defend her in times of
danger. He moved to Japan as an exchange student from HongKong... The final judgement was intended for Sakura
and Li to select between these two candidates a rightful master of the clow cards. Even
though Li didn't pass the final judgement, he was very supportive to Sakura, who was
determined to win for both herself and for Li. When Sakura defeats Euei with all her
might, Li was just as happy because he knew well that she couldn't have done it without
his magic.
He started his love and adoration for
Sakura without even knowing it. It's fun to see him blush sometimes! He can also be very
clumsy at handling stuff when Eli is present... |

| Meet Sakura's best friend Madison Tomoyo. They
grew up together and are related as cousins. Madison's mother is the sister of Sakura's
mother, they were also best friends when they were young.... Madison is sweet and adorable. She loves to
tape Sakura capturing the clow cards. Kero loves the cakes she makes, especially chocolate
cakes... Yum...
She was the happiest girl ever. She
grew up in a rich family (she goes to school with a group of body guards and by limousines),
but was never arrogant towards anyone. On the contrary, she has the mildest
personality ever known to humanity. Her generosity was a big aid to Sakura who often needs
Madison's advice to overcome barriers. As a result, Madison is a perfect girl - smart,
benevolent, and resolute.
The clow cards have brought Sakura,
Li, and Madison ever so close together! |
~ Li Meiling ~ |

| Meiling is a typical girl who looks tough on the out side
but is in fact very gentile and vulnerable inside. As a young girl, she trained herself
marshal arts in HongKong with Lee, hoping to become a cardcaptor one day. Unlike Lee,
Meiling does not have the magical gift possessed by her family. Meiling sees Li Shoaron as her personal adoltry, but her
unrequited love did not give her bitterness. She is a funny character to be around, her
annoyance adds on entertainment for the audiences. Watch out! She can turn nasty if
she's determined...
Meiling was also helpful in capturing the clow
cards. She played a big role in capturing the fight card, and the twin card. She also
became a very close friend to Sakura and Madison due to the clow cards... Wasn't it nice?! |
